Unlike the previous 8-strand set, the surface is monofilament-like due to Smooth Surface Processing (SSP), so the line can be released without stress. You can feel a smooth “release” with either the out guide or inter line. Conquer unexplored areas!
Originally, the farther you cast it, the larger the surface area becomes, and the more resistance it receives in the water, making it harder to handle the line. Therefore, it was not possible to transmit 100% of the rod’s jerking width to the egi. However, with “SSP”, the speed at which it cuts through the water has improved and the transmission power has increased, making the egi’s darts bolder. In addition, the simple and easy-to-understand marking pattern with color rotation every 10m makes it “easy” to check the distance of the cast and drift.
In pursuit of even greater heights, Hirohito Yamada has carefully considered the
“Higher Stage 8,” which allows for the ultimate in long casting that he has always sought.
