Unstable? Vibe? Sway? Irregular? Be sway.
I was fishing for sea bass and I thought about it. No matter how you look at it, the moment the lure's movement changes, the predator switch is turned on. Once you get used to it, you can get it to bite with just one twitch, and it's full of the feeling of "catching a fish", but I've been thinking since then... "Why aren't there lures that change their movement on their own?" "If that were the case, I think I could aim for more interesting catches." Of course, it's easy to catch fish at the boundary between the tides because the fish are waiting there, but another factor is that when the water flow changes and you pass the lure through there, the lure itself creates a gap for the lure to bite. That's why you want an element of "unstable action".
The front eye of the 13SWAY (BeSway) is what gives shape to that unstable action.
The front line eye has an action that is somewhere between S-shaped swimming and vibration. It vibrates a little when reeled in at high speed, but basically it doesn't vibrate. So, does that mean it doesn't swim? No, it moves in an S-shaped manner. The shape of the 13SWAY is kept quite slim. It sways because of its "low body height" and "intermediate action between an S-shape and a vibration lure". When you think it sways to the right, it sways irregularly to the left. It sways when it hits the tide line. Unlike strong vibration lures, it does not vibrate, so it is very light to reel in.
The action of the 13SWAY is not too appealing, so it is easy to catch fish that are used to strong vibration lures.
This position is the so-called standard vibration setting. It targets multiple fish species with small, not too violent movements. With a light reel, it imitates a fleeing bait. The stable movement of the middle eye is effective in bad conditions. In actual fishing, it is often attached to the front and middle eyes, but since the shape is smaller (50 mm) than a sea bass vibration lure, it is easy to get other fish species to bite, making it an all-purpose setting.
When attached to this position, it can be "reeled slowly". In other words, it can only be reeled in slowly. It won't swim straight unless you reel it in extremely slowly. This balance setting was rejected as a plan. After all, if you reel it in normally, it's very heavy and it swims sideways. If you're targeting flatheads and black porgy on the bottom, you need to reel it in slowly. And it needs to swim steadily. This is why it's a "fairly" aggressive setting.
