A highly effective fish-attracting jig with unparalleled operability. Sato's trump card for squeezing out catches even in tough conditions.
Completely supervised by legendary jigging angler Toshihiro Sato, a master of modern jigging and the creator of slow pitch jigging. "I want a flat, long jig that falls quickly and can be moved with minimal force from jerking." This Sato Jig is the result of thoroughly pursuing that desire of Sato.
Designed with a focus on overwhelming operability that allows for quick bottom contact even in unfavorable current conditions such as two opposing currents, and enables the lure to create the desired movement to entice fish, the Sato Jig features a nose and tail shape that allows for good water drainage in both upward (jerk) and downward (fall) movements, and a flat, long silhouette that attracts fish from a wide area with its high visual appeal, even in situations where fish are scarce. In short, the Sato Jig is a trump card that can squeeze out catches even in tough conditions such as "bad currents" and "sparse fish populations."
The finer details of the shape were finalized on board the ship, and Sato himself hand-carved the prototype to perfection, bringing its performance to the ideal level before turning it into the final product. "This is the best I've ever made," says Sato. A truly remarkable jig has been completed, with the potential to deliver even greater catches in targeting various fish species in shallow and deep waters.
