Thanks to the latest high-performance PE lines and strong line systems, snags and line breaks are becoming an increasingly difficult problem each year.
Trying to cut the line by grabbing the spool with your hand can damage the reel's bail or arm, and trying
to cut it by wrapping it in a towel or using conventional narrow line cutters increases the likelihood of the lines touching each other,
potentially damaging the main line or causing a high-speed break. In the worst case, it could even result in serious injury.
A high-speed break is not just a waste of line, but the worst kind of break for the environment and something that must be avoided at all costs.
The PE BREAKER II is an even more practical version of its predecessor, which was the first line cutter specifically designed for PE lines.
The biggest feature of the PE BREAKER II is its horizontally elongated pipe-shaped form, which
virtually eliminates the possibility of lines overlapping or getting tangled in your hands, making it extremely safe and
allowing you to cut the line without damaging it.
The custom-made, thick non-slip rubber wraps around the main body 4-5 times and holds the ends in place, virtually eliminating line slippage.
By firmly holding the ends of the pipe with both hands and applying force instantaneously, if the line system is tied with a strong knot,
most snags can be freed or the leader will break at the end, allowing for retrieval.
The performance hidden within its simple form will make it indispensable once you use it. Use

the S size for shore jigging, the M size for boat jigging with 3-6号 line, and
the L size for heavy tackle and jigging boat equipment with 6-8号 line.
It features a floating structure so that it can be retrieved with a net if it falls into the water, and
there is a hole on the side of the main body for passing a split ring through as a precaution against falling into the water.

The PE BRAKER II is also very effective as a friction knot tightening tool for thick PE lines.
