The culmination of 10 years

2024 marks the 10th year since TRY-ANGLE released the collaborative reel with Isuzu Kogyo. As a culmination of this collaboration, we will release an original bait casting reel. Based on the Isuzu Kogyo BC44 series, the TC-01 comes standard with a number of special features exclusive to the TC-01, such as the "7.1:1 super high speed gear," "double bearing offset handle," and "exclusive tough light spool." This reel is packed with the latest technology while retaining the body size and appearance unique to small classic reels.

Super High Speed ​​Gear

Based on the small BC series, this reel achieves a maximum ratio of 7.1:1. With a winding speed of approximately 70cm per turn of the handle, it can be used in a variety of situations.

Double Bearing Handle Knob

The handle is equipped with a custom-made handle knob with two built-in bearings, which makes reeling much smoother. Also, since it is fixed with a screw instead of the conventional rivet type, maintenance has been improved.

Offset handle and star drag

The extension of the drive shaft due to the one-way clutch is compensated for by offsetting the handle. The weight of the handle knob is increased by the bearing, and it is brought closer to the reel body, creating a more stable grip. In addition, the shape of the star drag has been changed due to the offset of the handle. It has a more unified appearance.

Two types of dedicated spools and brake systems

The TC-01 is shipped equipped with a tough light spool and mag brake system, so you can cast under 2g from the day you get it with no customization required.

Also included is a standard type spool (centrifugal brake) used in the Isuzu BC series. Select the spool that best suits your tackle and situation, such as when casting heavy lures or when fishing requires line capacity.

Drag Clicker & Star Drag Clicker

It is equipped with a drag clicker that notifies you of the line being pulled out with a clicker sound during a drag fight, and a star drag clicker that prevents the drag from loosening unexpectedly. This classic reel promises comfortable fishing without compromise.

Under 200g

The TC-01 weighs approximately 195g when equipped with a tough light spool and mag brake system. By using aluminum material throughout, it is both sturdy and lightweight. It reduces wrist fatigue and enables more accurate casting.

Custom Parts Compatibility

Some of the parts for the BC42 series sold by TRY-ANGLE can be attached without modification. You can enjoy a variety of customizations that allow for comfortable casting of lures under 2g.
