Yamaga Blanks' Blue Sniper
shore-based rod series for bluefish fishing is named "IGNITE" . We wanted to create a rod that would "ignite" anglers in the harshest conditions, one with enough appeal and performance to bring back anglers who have been put off by the harsh conditions.

What was needed to achieve this?

Our conclusion was to refine the rod's performance to the utmost, making it easy to cast and handle. While power is often considered the most important rod requirement for shore-based bluefish fishing, where large prey are expected to be caught unexpectedly, the true essence of a rod is undoubtedly its casting performance. This rod allows for stress-free casting throughout the day. It's easy to achieve consistent distances even with long casts. Even with a wide range of lure sizes and weights, the rod can bend and cast with ease. Of course, power is a given. This is the "easy to cast" and "easy to handle" performance we sought.

Outstanding basic performance is what will dominate the harshest bluefish fishing.

We hope that the reborn Blue Sniper will inspire the spirit of "keep casting" that is at the heart of shore bluefish fishing. That is the wish we have put into these rods.

This high-power plugging model is designed for targeting large bluefish using medium to large plugs. It maintains pressure by bending during the fight, maintaining control even in a power struggle.

This high-power model, specialized for plugging, was designed from scratch with materials and a design that focused on how to cast large plugs (approximately 100g) with ease and smoothness. It allows you to cast large plugs continuously throughout the day without any strain, and maintains a stable casting distance with a light and nimble cast feel. Furthermore, the strong and resilient blank, designed to stop large bluefish in a serious battle, is the culmination of Yamaga Blanks' blank molding technology, which continues to pursue rod bending and power. This rod is packed with high basic performance that is required in harsh situations such as offshore rocks, remote islands, rough rocky areas and shallow areas.

designed for tackling small bait patterns and tough conditions with high pressure using light PE 1.5-2 line. The flexible ML-class tip allows for comfortable finesse tackling with small plugs, including sea bass plugs, and 20-40g jigs, while the M-class butt power allows for speed-focused power games using PE 3 line in crowded fields and rugged terrain.
